Save yourself the frustration, just uninstall it now. The first game I played at least 4 times through. I have been meanign to reinstall it, but haven't got around to it yet. Looks like this just came out on Friday so hopefully it will at least look less bad. Obsidian isn't getting any of my money again. On top of that, there are just too many sequential cut scenes and dialog sequences that don't allow saving between. I've just gone back to Telos to try to find someone to tell about securing a fuel supply and whenever I try to free Ramana now that I have the credits it crashes. When I was kidnapped by Atris I had to replay that really long sequence over a dozen times to avoid getting stuck in a scripting error that resulted in my companions not being put in their holding cells therefore preventing any further progress.

The worst thing is that it crashes every half hour or so with an application error.

Except for the characters, it seems like the models are a lot simpler and the textures are lower res than the first one.

I updated my video drivers from to and was then able to play it. But, after 7 months, I gave up waiting and bought it.
